Cookin'
I thought this show was worth
the 1,359.12 mile trip to New York City. The show is a Korean
production about cooking for a Korean wedding. There is very
little plot, a lot of food chopping-related percussion, magic, and
fun. I was sitting next to two kids and and they laughed till
they almost split. I don't think they had this much fun at
Disneyland. Part of the time they were laughing at me becuase I
was recruited to perform in a little audience participation segment of
the show. Believe me, I didn't volunteer for this, but I was
sitting on the second row next to the two lively kids and was
apparently an easy target in the audience participation selection
process. off Broadway, Minetta Lane Theater Manhattan a review by Christine Fitzgerald Other folks seem to have enjoyed this show as well, as you can see from the review links and information below: New York Times Review Playbill Curtain Up Review The Villager Review with photo |
