Cookin'
off Broadway, Minetta Lane Theater
Manhattan
a review by Christine Fitzgerald
I thought this show was worth
the 1,359.12 mile trip to New York City. The show is a Korean
production about cooking for a Korean wedding. There is very
little plot, a lot of food chopping-related percussion, magic, and
fun. I was sitting next to two kids and and they laughed till
they almost split. I don't think they had this much fun at
Disneyland. Part of the time they were laughing at me becuase I
was recruited to perform in a little audience participation segment of
the show. Believe me, I didn't volunteer for this, but I was
sitting on the second row next to the two lively kids and was
apparently an easy target in the audience participation selection
process.
Other folks seem to have enjoyed this show as well, as you can see from
