The Producers
a review by Christine Fitzgerald
This show is chock full of off-color humor and offensive
stereotypes. The people next to us left after intermission.
I don’t know why they left, but it didn’t seem like such a terrible
move. No, I didn’t see Matthew Broderick, and yes, he is awfully
cute, but I don’t think he would have helped matters. All of the
performers I saw were very professional and talented. The
problems were from the subject matter of the show and the jokes.
I understand that this story was made into a movie a while back.
You can rent this show on VHS and maybe DVD if you feel you simply must
see it. I don’t know if Matthew Broderick is in the movie, but I
don’t think so.
