Diane E. Dees is a psychotherapist and writer in Covington, Louisiana. Her short stories, poems, creative nonfiction, essays, and political commentary have appeared in many publications. Diane and her husband, Orvin Tobiason, are the webmasters of princesscafe.com, the world's only virtual rock and roll restaurant. Diane has poetry recently published or forthcoming in Manorborn, Slow Trains, Moondance, Hazmat Review, Mobius, and Out of Line. Diane E. Dees has written extensively about film. Her essays include "Enormous Jabs of Pleasure" in Bikwil, "My Janeless Decade" in Boomer Cafe, and "Fasten Your Seatbelts: It's Going To Be a Bumpy List" in Eclectica. Short stories include: "Hollywood Night" in The Moonwort Review, "She Was Born To Please" in The MAG, "It's Better Than Ever" in New Works Review , and "Between Destinations" in Pindeldyboz.  She has also written film-related poetry: "Two for Hepburn, In Memoriam" in Slow Trains and "For Rita Hayworth" in Moondance. "When I Sailed With the Queen," a short story in which Bette Davis is a character, will be published in an upcoming issue of The Raven Chronicles. Diane has also written a sestina about the career of Bette Davis, and a poem about the Kill Bill films.
