David Jordan is a former newspaperman and teacher turned poet/fictionwriter.  He grew up in an Air Force family and his wandering as military brat, academic and newspaper bum took him everywhere from Nebraska to Georgia to California.  He now lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife and son.  In recent years his poems have been published in scores of magazines, including Rattle, Pearl, Plainsongs, Comstock Review and Nimrod.  One of his stories appeared in the Summer 2003 issue of Thema.
