Daniel Shapiro's first writing experience was as a film and music reviewer for newspapers, and many of his poems center on these themes. His work has appeared in print and online in BorderSenses, Big City Lit, Snakeskin, The Laughing Dog, and elsewhere. His chapbook, Teeth Underneath, will be available soon from FootHills Publishing. When he is not writing his own poems, he is reading and critiquing the work of others as an assistant editor for the literary magazine Lily. |
