A Boston
native, Heather Van Doren studied creative writing while earning a BS in journalism from Bowling Green State University. She is pursuing a master's degree in English literature at The University of Toledo. Her fiction has appeared in Word Riot and Yankee Pot Roast. Her poetry has been published in Long Story Short and Prairie Margins. Literary recognition includes a national feature writing award from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. |
