Mary J. Breen lives in
Peterborough, Canada, and has been a
freelance writer and editor for the last nineteen years. She has
written two books about women's health: Taking Care, McGraw-Hill Ryerson,
1991, and So Many Changes
Lawrence Heights C.H.C. Press, 1999. She has published numerous
articles in newspapers and journals. She has a piece in Dropped Threads 2, and her short
story, Helen's Day, was
published in Canadian Woman Studies
