Phoebe Kate Foster
lives on the North Carolina coast, where she is an associate editor of
PopMatters, an online magazine of global culture, and she is an
assistant editor of The Dead Mule, a literary e-zine. Her
short
fiction is forthcoming or has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Paumanok Review, Vestal Review, Slow Trains, Flashquake, Electric Acorn (Ireland), Eclectica, Mid-South Review, Tattoo Highway, Megaera, and The Distillery: Artistic Spirits of the
South, among others. In 2003, one of her stories was
nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
