Tanya Rucosky Noakes was born and spent most of her life in rural Pennsylvania.  She holds degrees in English Literature, Library Science and Environmental Education.  She has worked as an organic farmer, archivist, editor, restaurateur, UN representative, and park ranger.  She lives in Australia with her husband. She has spent most of her life outdoors.  Deer, snow and trees seem to sneak into nearly every poem she writes.   Her book, Considering Laeotoli, http://home.surewest.net/aphasiapress/ is now available.
