Tanya
Rucosky Noakes was born and spent most of her life in rural
Pennsylvania.
She holds degrees in English Literature, Library Science and
Environmental Education. She has worked as an organic
farmer, archivist, editor, restaurateur, UN representative, and park
ranger. She lives in Australia
with her husband. She has spent most of her
life
outdoors. Deer, snow and trees seem to sneak into
