Thea Sullivan's poetry has appeared in numerous journals, including Barrow Street, Water-Stone, Calyx, 13th Moon, Switched-On
Gutenberg, and Poems and Plays, as well as in an anthology
entitled Knowing Stones: Poems of
Exotic Places (John Gordon Burke Publisher, Inc.). Last spring a poem by Thea Sullivan was awarded Honorable Mention in the New Millennium Writing Awards XV competition. Other poems have been finalists or honorees in contests judged by Jane Hirshfield and Philip Levine (Jane Kenyon Poetry Prize and National Writers’ Union competition, respectively). |
